What I keep coming back to

When people have no time for themselves, the cost shows up somewhere.

Usually as stress, burnout, and health quietly sliding down the list. And that toll doesn't stay with one person… it ripples out through families, and through whole communities. I've watched it happen, and I've lived it.

So I build support that fits around real lives, instead of demanding hours people don't have. Movement and nervous system work, delivered through accessible online courses and in person, all housed in one movement and mindfulness hub. Small steps, done consistently, in the body you're in right now.

How I work

I hand you back to yourself.

Across more than twenty years, I've worked as a personal trainer, youth worker, career development practitioner, trainer, assessor and program developer across fitness, education and community services. I've run groups and one-to-ones, designed, delivered and assessed training from Certificate I to Diploma level, developed programs and resources, secured funding through grant writing, and built the systems that helped good work reach more people. I also spent several years doing independent disability support work alongside teaching group fitness and building my own business.

These threads now meet in the nervous system work I integrate into everything, rather than treating it as a separate box. I study nervous system recovery through SmartBody SmartMind with Irene Lyon, alongside somatic and trauma-informed training, and I've been diligent about applying and integrating this work in my own recovery from burnout and a run of difficult things I don't speak about publicly at this stage. Complex PTSD and ADHD are part of my own life too, so I don't teach from a pedestal. I walk with you, hold your hand while you need it, and let go the moment you're ready. You becoming the expert on you is the whole aim.

The bigger picture

The reason I want the reach.

In mid-2026 I'm stepping back into the advocacy space around domestic violence, child sexual abuse and coercive control, with a book centring CSA prevention that I'm hoping to launch the same year.

As a precursor to that, I met with the SA Minister for Child Protection and Women's Safety and presented my paper, Child Safety 2025 and Beyond, a chance to point at gaps the system wasn't yet across. That's a big part of why I'm here, building the reach, the systems and the steadiness to do that work justice: a Future Australia that doesn't hurt 10,000+ children a year. (I'm not mad, I swear. More on that another day.)

Where the movement work is heading

Where this is heading.

The Movement & Mindfulness Hub is in its pilot stage. I'm starting with pole studios and their communities, to see what actually works, what people use, what helps, and what needs to change.

If it works the way I believe it can, the stories that come out of it can help open doors… into the community services, mental health and trauma recovery sectors, so this reaches the people who need it and can't get to it yet.

Pole is where we're starting. It doesn't have to be where it ends.
